6:00 pm=Arrival of members and guests at the Temple: Worship Triple Gem, Observe Five Precepts, Parita-Mantra Blessing and Dhamma Preaching.
Saturday, September 24, 2011
9:00am=Arrival of members and guests at Marlborough Community Hall: Worship Triple Gem, Observe Five Precepts, and Offer Alms-Food into Alms-Bowl of Bhikkhu Monks.
6:00pm= Khmer traditional music and dance with popular singer from Cambodia Sovannpannha Chhit entertained by The Khmer Neakpean Live Band.
Entrance fee contribution: $20
Free for youths under17 & seniors 65 up
NOTE: There will be an election to choose president of associations: Khmer-Canadian Buddhist Cultural Society & Cambodian-Canadian Association of Alberta. According to by-law and decision made at the meeting convened on 14th August 2011, the legitimate candidates must be active members and they informed their candidacy in 2 weeks prior to the voting day to the Central Committees.
